Enjoy some precious time with your family on your farm holiday in the Salzburg region. Rural living is exciting and interesting for "city kids", and every day there is so much work to do with the animals, in the fields and on the farm in general. Children can also lend a hand with the farm and stable work, help us attend to the animals and take all these unforgettable impressions home with them! Our playground is complemented by a climbing and balance course, a climbing tower with slide, various swings (normal swing, toddler swing and bird's nest swing), a sandpit, a trampoline, a children's play hut and a second slide on the slope.
Lots of space and a large play area!
No noise, no bustle, no traffic! What else can our farm offer you? Plenty of fun, freedom and nature. The large play area has a giant trampoline, sandpit, swing, slide, a children's playhouse and all sorts of play equipment including diggers, go-karts, pedal tractors and a ping-pong table, table football, basketball and badminton sets are of course also available.
“Car-free” courtyard in summer
In summer, parking spaces are available at our barn. This allows us to keep the courtyard car-free so that activities such as go-karting, pedal tractors and scooters are available without restriction. But that's not all: badminton, basketball, street field hockey and even drawing with crayons are possible directly on the large asphalted square. Children can play table tennis, table soccer and darts in our play garage.

See what the animals are up to!
Our cows and calves are also on holiday, because they can spend the summer months on our alpine farming area from mid-June to mid-September. Twice a week we visit them up there, we attend to them and our guests can come too! However, many other farm animals live with us on the farm in the summer: ponies, chickens, guinea pigs, rabbits, dwarf goats, pigs and kittens!
Snowball fights and sledging!
It’s snowing, it’s snowing! Winter includes skiing and snowboarding, of course! But for children, winter also means romping in the snow, tobogganing and a giant snowman selfie that you can send via mobile to remember the great winter holidays on the Haarlehen farm in the Großarltal valley!
