Sporty: Cross-country skiing and ski touring!

The well-maintained 25 km network of trails in Großarl and Hüttschlag provide the best conditions for your cross-country skiing holiday. Embark on a ski tour if you want to go higher up and combine the enjoyment of nature with sporting challenges, and the efforts of the climb are rewarded with fantastic powder snow descents.

Family fun: Tobogganing and horse-drawn sledge rides!

Sledging is an exciting fun for the whole family! Race 3 km downhill on the toboggan run at the Hotel Lammwirt, is illuminated until 11.00 pm and the Loosbühelalm toboggan run (not illuminated) will guarantee plenty of sledging excitement! You can also create your own exciting sledge runs around our farm. Go on a romantic horse-drawn sleigh ride, and be picked up right outside our front door! 

Enjoyable: Winter and snowshoe hiking!

Allow yourself to be kissed by the winter sun on a leisurely hike over a total of 35 km of cleared paths that criss-cross the Großarl valley! Or just venture cross-country and enjoy the experience of a snowshoe hike, a gentle sport that is becoming increasingly popular.

Icy: Ice skating and curling

Both leisure activities are sociable and fun! The leisure centre in Großarl is just a few minutes’ walk from our farm and has a skating rink is free to use and is open from 10am to 9pm. There are several curling rinks available in the region, with the rink in Großarl just a few minutes' walk from our farm.
